News flash: St. Patrick's Day is NOT observed in the Philippines!!!!! Outrageous! Unthinkable!
Well, it wasn't until Team Bieber arrived. We marked the occasion with a trip to Villa Esquedaro, hosted by RC Santa Mesa. This resort is the work of the Esquedaro family. After a three-hour drive out to Quezon Province (the one that was alerted for the tsunami on Friday), our day included a guided tour of their unique, electic museum collections, lunch beneath the man-made waterfall, and navigating bamboo rafts around the resort lake. We were also treated to a catered dinner back at home of one of the club's members. We toasted the day with our iced coffees at the resort and poolside with our wine at dinner. St. Patrick would be proud!
