Hello everyone. We are now all settled into our new homes and are working to learn to navigate around the neighborhoods. Today was wonderfully exhausting spent touring the Rotary site projects. I will do my best to summarize as it was a whirlwind day full of singing and dancing with our most fantastic hosts from the Rotary Club of Loyola Heights. We visited Brookside Village and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, V. Luna General Hospital. At Brookside we visited the children in school, the housing projects, along with the quilting & candle projects. At the Medical Center we toured the Brace and Prosthetics Center. We ended the evening dancing on a rooftop as we somehow are now part of the Club's "act" which they are presenting at the District Conference... it was established throughout the day that we all are smashingly good dancers. Although Rebecca disappointingly did not do the "worm" as we were wearing skirts.
