I know I have been a little behind on posting but we have been extremely busy! Here goes part deux:
SHAKES!
In all fairness, this should have been #1 on the list. We get a fresh fruit shake everyday, literally. They are sooo delicious. My usual is a green mango shake. Green mango is just an unripe mango so it is very sour. Buuuttt, in the green mango shake, they add sugar which equals awesome-ness. Another delicious shake I tried at the world famous shake shack, Jonas, on Boracay Island was Banana Mocha Peanut. I know you're salivating. Jamie is in search of the elusive avocado strawberry shake while Theresa always goes for a creamy banana shake. Rebecca usually finds the fruit no one can pronounce or has straight mango. Cindy is all over the place with her shakes. I think we are addicted but I don't care.
BORACAY
I mean, obviously, when you travel to an exotic island in the South China Sea as guests of the mayor of said island your gonna become obsessed. Words can not describe our weekend there or the natural beauty of this tropical destination. We were so lucky and grateful to have experienced everything from the countless massages to the private dinner with the mayor/fiancee on his private beach (Puka Beach) to the boat ride where we rode on the outriggers. We had a blast and many thanks goes to Albert Lee, Chito (big thank you), Mayor John and his fiancee, Abbie.
First picture is of some of our many shakes and next picture is of us enjoying our shakes at Jonas.
The beautiful beach shot was taken atop a high cliff. We rode a bamboo elevator to get up there. We were told that this is where they take most of their postcard pictures. The final picture is of all of us at Puka Beach where our private dinner was. This picture is not of great quality. The sand art was beautifully done for us and you can not see any of the detail. I just decided to add one more picture so you can see it better. (Didn't feel like going back and deleting what I already wrote as I am sitting in a steaming, hot room and am trying to get back to my air conditioning!!)
