Vocational Day #3

Today I went to visit some "He Cares" Foundation sites. http://www.hecaresfoundation.com/ There are more than 1.5 million streetchildren in the Philippines - about 70,000 of them in Metro Manila alone. He Cares Foundation is a Christian non-profit organization that helps extremely poor street children in Metro Manila, Philippines by providing basic needs like food, clothing, education and medical assistance, as well as spiritual support. It was founded by full-time lay missionaries, Joe Dean Sola & his wife, Ardis in 1996. It is amazing to see how some good ideas, by a few good people, are making such a difference in the lives of so many.
